The need for system scaffolding in the construction industry
to carry out demolition, maintenance and repair work is obvious. One of the
best staging structures used in Australia is the Cuplock System, which is based
on securing nodes with two cups instead of wedges, nuts and bolts. It provides
a fast, multiple and simplified system of start-up projects related to this
field of work. It offers a quick solution to ensure up to four horizontals at a
time through a reliable top cup that makes the joint firm and rigid.
This type of structure is easy to lift and disassemble,
leaves no loose ends, requires minimal maintenance and does not use components
such as nuts, bolts and wedges. It is better for access or formwork support and
has a high load capacity despite being quite light. The varied components of
the Cuplock system scaffolding are listed below:
Standard / Vertical Cuplock
It has cup joints at regular distances; The captive moving
upper cups are suitable to face the adverse condition of the site. The internal
pins link the standards (placed at the top) in the vertical direction.
Cuplock Ledger
It has a steel blade forged at the ends, which can find the
lower cups of the standard while being held by the associated upper cups.
Stern mirror
Each piece is manufactured from twin structural angles that
are joined together at the back, with blades forged at the ends.
Stern mirror Cuplock Omega
This product is manufactured from bent sections with pressure
flange extensions on the sides and finds application in the support of the work
platform together with steel slats.
Cuplock intermediate crossbar
It is used in cases where the distance between the standards
is greater than the length of the boards.
Cuplock interior dash cross member
Cuplock return mirror
It is used to eliminate spaces between two scaffolds.
Stairway Access Crossbar
Connected to the accounting books in the bay, this component
is used to create the desired amount of space in the bay to place a ladder.
Cuplock reinforcement
Cuplock cantilever frame
It is equipped with ledger sheets that are held with the
cups of the standards and acts as a support component for covers and formwork
at the edges.
Beam brackets
These are fixed to the primary vertical support beams, in
order to avoid individual verticals to support the work of slabs.
Hop-Up 1/2/3 Support
This type of support is created in the omega sections and in
the tube sections to easily place slats so that the forged blades conform to
Cuplock standards through a cup joint.
Horizontal uniting cuplock
These components represent the necessary railings in the
scaffold passage work platform.
Universal cats
Used in combination with fork heads, socket base and hollow
head adapters, this type of screw offers a lifting mode that can be implemented
at the top and bottom of a mounting structure.
Socket
It is drilled to insert a fixing bolt, if necessary, when
used together with the universal jack.
Loose spigot
Adapter
It is a tool that allows dropheads to easily convert from
waffle, channel or metriform support systems to be used with the Cuplock
scaffold.
