A scaffold is a structure widely used in most work sites. It
represents a temporary and safe work platform to help in

If we classify the types of scaffolding according to the

are 3 types of scaffolds used in construction sites, such as:

The tube and coupler scaffolding is conceived as a temporary
structure at a construction site.
The work is auxiliary and temporary. Its objective is to

the platform.
The structure must be properly anchored to the building. It
is used to build, restore, knock down all or part of erections.
The system is composed of several elements:
- steel pipe
- the clamp, allowing the tubes to fit together or to join the components
- slats or work platforms
- anchor systems
- base cats (plates)
The tube is the key element of the system. Depending on how
it is placed, it takes the name of standard / vertical (when placed
vertically), stern mirror (when it forms a horizontal cross section), ledger
(when placed horizontally), and diagonal (when placed as reinforcement) .
The coupler is the connecting element of the tubes, it can
be made of steel or cast iron.
The name may vary depending on the joint: right angle
(orthogonal), swivel, parallel, simple and sleeve coupling.
Rotary coupler The elements can be joined at different
angles by means of the rotary coupler, either in steel or cast iron. The
elements can also be joined axially through a parallel coupler, either in steel
or cast iron.
The slats (work platforms) or any board platform complete
the structure.
The deck tables are intended to be horizontal elements
conceived as passable floors. They also play the role of transferring loads
vertically through the tubes in the crossbars, which are attached to the
uprights.
